Ok, Im not afraid to admit it, Im a noob with Chaos. Here's my army list:

HQ

Chaos lord, MoCU, Bolt pistol, power weapon, d. speed, d. resilience, frags. 117 points

Tactics: keep him behind my chaos marines until he's at least within 19" of nemy troops, then charge him forwards.

TROOPS

CSM squad, champion, heavy bolter, plasma gun, MoCU, Power weapon, plasma pistol. 168 points

Tactics: Support fire until enemy is close enough, then counter assault.
