In order to post pictures on the internet, they need to be hosted somewhere. Photobucket is a popular choice but there are others and many offer some sort of service for free.

You can also become a Dakka contributing member (by donating money) at which point Dakka will host your pictures.

Either way, once your pictures are hosted you will be able to link to them by clicking on the 'photo button' when making a post and pasting the url of the picture you want to view.

Tread-fethers I think. No 'a'.

For the love of feth man!

Anyway, get them posted. I always like to see Tanith Guard and the different approaches to Camo Cloaks.

Ok guys, I got the pics on the web so here we go.  I have loaded them on photobucket.    Let me know what you think.  There are 117 so far completed.  I have 53 more to paint.  Working on a custom one for "Try Again Bragg".    Let me know what you think.

Thanks Ty

Just looks like the metal ones that GW sells, with a few add-ons.

Right behind you...

A good start scoutmaster, keep practising and painting...  It looks like a lot of the detail could still be picked out on the models though.  Practice (a lot in my case) will refine your technique.

Looks like a good start. I've been gathering the parts to do my own Tanith for awhile now. I'd be interested to see how you've converted the other heavy and special weapons.

I used steel legion arms for the treadfeathers.  I just cut away the lasguns barrels to put on the flamer tip and plasma guns.  I will get some pics up soon of "Try Again Bragg"

What did you expect?

Keep it up scout. 170 models for 1 army is much more than I could finish off.

I like big armies and have a wife who paints also.  I am not painting these to try for a Golden Demon.  I am painting to a good game table standard.    I have been painting for over 30 years now (I am 55) and just enjoy the painting.  I for warhammer I did a 5000 point snotling hoard.  So large armies are where it is for me.

Working on two 4 foot by 6 foot ruined cities for a local convention in August.   So the tanith and other armies will just have to wait for a bit.

Thanks everyone for the feedback.
