So since we cant sell sealed boxed sets from GW on the internet after this weekend, we thought having a  easy to use order form would be a great thing to have in place.  So here it is.  This form is mostly for bits, but there is a spot at the bottom where you can put in anything we sell, even Drew the bits clipper. (sorry Drew)

LMK what you think!

Oh and there is a holiday next week, and this is our last weekend for box sets on the net , so we will probably have a sale soon, a really really BIG sale soon.....

BWBits Email Order form

Now available is the BWBits Excel Order form. This easy to use form makes ordering anything from us, espically bits a snap! Just fill it out and email it to us!

I think that there's no two ways about it; this is going to cut into your sales.  Not having pictures is the worst part, but having a catalog helps with that.  I am eager to hear about this Big Sale, though...

Iorek, did you look at the order form? Its like the same thing as ordering from the site, cept its not on the internet.  I understand there are no pics, but you can buy or download the catalog for that.

I think it is not as easy but its as easy as GW ill let any of us make it.

Yeah, I did look at it.  I'm not trying to slam you at all; I apologize if that's what my tone indicated.  I just think it sucks that G-Dub forced to your remove the pics; doing the cross referencing is going to tone down people's impulse buys is all that I meant.  I think you've done a great job working within the ridiculous boundaries that GW has set forth.

You wouldn't be able to embed pictures in the spreadsheet, would you?

Once again, apologies for coming off wrong on that.

could you link the items in the spreadsheet to an image on your website that is hidden ?

that way the spreadsheet still downloads quickly, but images are available if you click to it.

i dont know if that against the lame rules or not.

What if you just link to GWs images on their site ... let them do the work and the images while you show the consumer the deal the're getting off of GWs inflated "retail" prices ?

But, in response to the concerns of making shopping more "difficult" or "inconvenient" ... those that shop online are probably savvy enough to be able to open a second window to GWs site to see what they're ordering from the BWBITS site ... it's not that difficult and I think BWBITS has done a great job trying to work with GW and within their silly restrictions. A few minutes "lag" in the order process efficiency for me isn't a deal-breaker if I can get a better price or plastic bits that GW doesn't even provide.

Good luck BWBITS !!! I have vacation next week and my 4th of July celebration will include a BBQ and an order to you guys !!

Considering BWB has the market cornered on after-market bitz in the States, I think sales should remain high. He's not competing with another bitz seller who can have pictures on the site, similar to what hurts online retailers in the same GW situation.

Because of his fairly unique service, I think BWB will be OK.

Heh no I don't think that is against "the rules" as long as we are not using GW IP.  That is a very good idea, and I am sure we can get that implemented.

The bits pictures will never be taken off the site, you will be able to browse to them just like you can now, just no clicky clicky after the end of summer.

The whole problem is that we cant do the shopping cart thing.
