Name plate above the tank commander says "Iron Duke".  Isn't that a special character or something like that?

The Ad-Mech shrine thingy on the side of the tank looks very cool.  Makes me want to go practice my scriptures for proper tank procedures...

That would be very reasonable - especially as the Land Raider Crusader is already around $85 Canadian.

If its somewhat affordable, this may be the thing that makes me do an IG army.

Hopefully this bodes well for the existence and creation of a Stompa, eh?

I heard there are 4 'baneblades' coming out for Apoc: Imperial, Chaos, Ork, and Stormsword (the titan killer one). Clearly upgrades to the standard kit, but still groovy.

 I've heard from multible sources that the stompa is dead in the water and that we wont be seeing a model for it produced. Hopefully this isnt true but I think it likely is.

Seem likely to me as well - particularly with the rumors of the 'Ork Baneblade'. A mega-battlewagon conversion for this would be nifty enough anyway.

Its difficult to believe that a significant new release for Orks will happen in our lifetimes.

New baneblade looks pretty cool so far, and different enough from my FW Lucius pattern that they will feel like the ancient and individual relics they have become over the ages.

New commander from that one shot of the turret, which is nice to see, I figured they would just through in the current IG vehicle sprue.

I have heard rumors that FW would be doing conversion/upgrade kits for this plastic kit as they have done on the Russ and Chimera in the past.  That is where I would expect to see the loota kit, chaos silliness and a big ol volcano cannon for the shadowsword.

I just noticed, there are two hatches on the BB!  Gw finally made a turret as big as my old M60!  I'll definitely have the gunner and TC sticking out of those hatches with a pair of heavy stubbers, cool.

That things looks absolutely fantastic!! Very detailed and meant to be 1" larger in all directions than the forgeworld kit, which i doubt, but if it is even slightly bigger that will be one very immpresive model. I will certainly be getting one. A buddy of mine here saw it and said it was a brilliant model.

He also saw the new Orc bikes and said they were just awesome. They have a huge back tire, like a chopper, big exhaust pipes, long forks on the front. He said they were magnitudes better than the old models.

I just want to see it compared to the FW Baneblade.

Or even more absurd, how about plastic drop pods?!?

I own a Baneblade and a Stormblade. What I don't want is this new plastic Baneblade to look significantly different to the current one, or to make up my Super-Heavy Company I'll just get the other FW one.

We need a comparison shot.

Just comparing the preview shots to the one I have sitting beside me, it looks to be fairly different. The front of the treads has a different armour pattern, as well as different style treads, the turret top deck looks to be an entirely new design, as well as the Mechanicus shrine and gothic windows (above the heavy bolters) coming in out of left field.

Anyone want to buy 1 forgeworld baneblade apparently significantly smaller than the new GW baneblade?

I agree with HBMC in hoping that they kept the basic sizing at least close.

If my collection of Epic-scale Thunderhawk Gunships is anything to go by, GW won't bother to make the new Baneblade the same size as the old one.
