Why is this happening?

Not why is he wanting out but why is he selling it instead of passing the torch to a trusted friend or respected member of the community?

I just don't understand the need to "cash in" as opposed to handing it off to someone he can trust to carry on the traditions that Dakka Dakka has come to be known and respected for?

Just seems like a shady thing to do there is no telling what type of person will be purchasing the site. It could be a complete and utter tool (Not saying this is the case but open auction is up for anyone.)

Oh well I guess the best we can do is sit back and wait and hope that who ever buys the site will not run Dakka into the ground.

Current

2000 points Terminator force (currently Imperial Fist)

yakface's 40K rule #1: Although the rules allow you to use modeling to your advantage, how badly do you need to win your toy soldier games?
yakface's 40K rule #2: Friends don't let friends start a MEQ army.
yakface's 40K rule #3: Codex does not ALWAYS trump the rulebook, so please don't say that!
