The Last Chancer Who Survived

Finished my Command HQ's Chimera last night, here she is! And it was the last thing I needed to paint for my 2000 pt army, so here's a bad pic of the whole army now Yeah I know there's a marine driving the rhino, it's for the inquisitor so he gets to pick all the good stuff. It's really just the command squad rhino/razorback for my marine army, so I figured I'd give it to the inquisitor for now. Maybe I'll get him a chimera too some day... Now I'm not sure what to do next.. either expand the army with some stormtroopers (using FW death korps) or start a new traitor guard army.. I'm leaning more toward the stormtroopers at this point now. Of course I'll be adding a baneblade too but that's 2 months away... anyway wadaya think?

Hehe I recognize that dozer blade conversion from some of your previous pics on other vehicles Awesome weathering effects! And wonderful looking army as a whole! My only aesthetic suggestion is for you to convert up a kick-ass V dozer blade for each of the vehicles in your army You said you have an Inquisitor- I can't really tell from the pic, but if you don't have an assassin, I'd suggest that be your next thing to do!

The assassin is there, he's the guy standing all alone in the middle of those 4 small squads up front.. but you can' t really tell what it is.. he's a Vindicare. I also have a really old eversor that I keep meaning to strip and repaint. I will prolly eventually get 1 of each assassin so I can pick whichever one I want depending on the game. I'd like to eventually make a dozer blade for each tank too.. actually the V shaped ones I will use for Russes since they're bigger and I'll use the normal sized ones for Chimera based tanks.

Well, you could start by painting up a new rhino for the inquisitor Do the Stormtroopers. I'd wait on traitor guard (unless you were going to use IG rules for 'em).

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil |

yeah it was gonna be a guard army basically, just using the FW renegade milita models and painted in a nurgley theme .. main reason I'm leaning toward stormtroopers is because of Apocalypse I can easilly add this army to my marine army who's all done in the same colors .. I don't really have any other chaos stuff so it would be a while (and a lot of cash) till I got enough stuff to do any big Apocalypse games with em

Looove the dozerblade. I'll be stealing that idea!
