So I got me the hordes Skorne starter box. Spent most of yesterday's free time building everything. Those cyclops arms were a real pain in the pills

anyway, I'm wondering about the banner poles. If anyone has built/painted these guys.. I like the look of the poles and all, but I worry that they're just gonna bend/break off when I play. That's happened with plenty of other models I've had, and I know when I play I'm not going to pay attention and pick up a model by the flag when I go to move it, then the flag's gonna pop off, the model's gonna fall onto the table and prolly break something else as it rolls around while I try not to cry

So, anyone have any tips for attaching them? I thought about replacing the attaching pole with some brass rod but I'm afraid the loops on the flag will be too small to really drill through properly, even though I can fix it with green stuff if I have to, i'd rather not. Plus, that will really only work for the titan who's back I can drill straight into. The cyclopseses get their banner just stuck onto their back.

So, anyone ever bult/painted these guys have any ideas for how I can attach these flags and make them stay forever?

Best approach I've seen was to drill out space for a small rare earth magnet and build the mate into the banner pole. This way they pop on and off with no damage, and if something bumps against the pole it's fine.
