I read it now.  We don't allow KB forFell Bats because they are not approximately man-sized.

You need to work out the effectiveness of your units.  Light shooting is wasted on the Black Coach.

Wood Elf (Asrai) mages can hide in woods very effectively, by themselves.  Athel Loren spells do not require LoS and attack Treesinging has no range limit.

So I have to play more hide and seek with my mages?

I'll tell him about killing blow with fell bats. He's the one who said I
made two outright kills.

I realized the shooting thing right when I did it (blech). I should have moved the
Waywatchers to a wood edge and taken shots at something. They were kind of wasted,
though, as they couldn't panic anything with shooting, and the undead
just kept coming up in waves.

Another thought, I wanted to charge his dire wolves with the Waywatchers, but
I didn't want to take a command check. I would have hit them in the flank, and with
two hand attacks, had a good chance of rolling them. The only thing is my CR probably
wouldn't have been high enough to finish the undead unit off, and the fell bats would
have charged me the following turn.

This is where you need some tactics and maneuver.  You break the wolves, then flee from the bats, making sure that your flee move is into a wood where the bats cannot pursue   Calaingor's Stave can let your Spellweaver get off a lot of Treesinging.

And LD8 is pretty decent odds of passing the Fear test anyway.

KB (and therefore Lethal Shot) works fine on Fellbats though.  "Roughly man-sized" was 6th edition.  In 7th edition it works on anything US2 or less.

Your tactical notes seem decent.  Some of it's going to just take practice.  Never shoot at a Black Coach- just try to redirect/avoid it, or, if you can get the charge, hit it with a Treeman or Treekin.  KB is a total waste against unarmored zombies.  Wardancers should almost always use the +1 attack dance when they can (or 4+ ward to absorb a charge)- KB is really just for use against heavily-armored (3+ or better) troops or when you're trying to kill a nasty character.

Sylvanians don't use Necromancers, BTW.  Just vampires (who do happen to cast from the Lore of Necromancy).  Vampires are also badass in HtH, unlike Necromancers.

Two or more scrolls are virtually mandatory at 2k points or above.  If you have the Hail of Doom, use it!  One popular choice is to destroy or cripple a smallish supporting unit early in the game.
