Ok, so I got my first box of WHFB critters today, a zombie regiment, and upon opening the box I imagine i made one of the funnier faces in my life. Surprise surprise, no bases. 20 zombies with nothing to stand on...either it's a cruel jab at their effectiveness (why bother standing up speedbumps) or GW has found yet one more way to nickel and dime an already pricey niche of the hobby world (an extra $5 for a bag only containing 20 appropriate bases out of 60).
Is this really how they run WHFB box sets, or was this just some random packaging mistake? I'm hoping it's the latter, since even in the financial black hole that is 40K they were merciful enough to include bases. And if it's the former, well...%(*&#!
I once ordered 12 round bases from GeeDub and they sent me 12 sprues of bases ... Think I've finally burned out those 36 extras from all the fantasy -- 40k conversions, but thanks GeeDub!

Something about that image... how the lead guys kilt is blowing backwards as if the wind had caught it. But the guy behind hims kilt is remaining still. Yet the guy behind him is turning his face away with a look of disgust on his face...
