I peruse a few random pages on wikipedia each day and am learning a heap of pointless general knowledge.
Pointless knowledge to wow your friends and have handy for tight jams....
Delaware

The definition of the northern boundary of the state is highly unusual. Most of the boundary between Delaware and Pennsylvania is defined by an arc extending 12 miles (19 km) from the cupola of the courthouse in New Castle, and is referred to as the Twelve-Mile Circle. This is the only true-arc political boundary in the United States.

I know grad students who go on to Wikipedia and change things, ever so slightly to make them believable, but absolutely false. Wikipedia is fun, but don't trust it.

shame they didn't give it a better/ historical name when it started but ok. At least "wiki" is distinctive.

Have you ever tried Wiki'ing something you know you nknow about and seeing how much bs is there.
You will be suprised just how inaccurate Wiki is.
I see use for Wiki only as a source for further search criteria to check elsewhere and for popular culture trivia.

I am visiting my parents home this week, hence my access to internet.
They have SKY TV, I dont have a television at all as I find it a huge time sink, but when in Rome....
While channel flicking in an attempt to find something to watch I came across a gameshow called Love Island, what I saw beggared belief. In a beach 'quiz' for some of the female bikini clad contestants one couldn't recite the alphabet and the next failed to recognise a portrait of Tony Blair.
Where do they dig up these blondes, I thought it was a myth.
