sorry, my first two minis recently got repainted for my Mordtheim gang....

I tried very hard not to repaint my original failures.

My first minis are sadly gone. :(

They were the marines in the old paint box. I painted em silver cause it made them shiny. And I had no idea what a primer was. Took me two armies to learn. But they're long gone. Curse Ebay

Set your eyes to "pain"

When I originally started Space marines I was in 6th grade and I had just seen the Men In Black movie, so I thought the space marines were basically just the same. So how cool would it be if I made a chapter of space marines. Each marine would have his Name/letter on one pad, and the type (tactical, assault, etc) on the other. I painted 3 marines before I realized this was a horrible idea (and I only had 3 marines).
I lost the 3rd marine and I found these 2 horrendous models at the bottom of a box of minis.
They've since been painted up as statues.

Heh, this was my very first Ork about two years ago.



I struggled with painting him so much back then. I'm happy to say my painting has improved a great deal since, but I don't really like doing it nearly as much as converting.



This guy was my 2nd ork, first conversion.



I did all these with four colors, mind, and this was before I learned what sheet styrene was. Those days are comfortably past me now.
