You: "Hold on, you rammed, that's not a tank shock"
Me: "Ok so what is a ram, lets look at the rules."
Rulebook: "A ram is a special kind of tank shock"
You: "So it's a tank shock until it hits a vehicle, and then it's a ram, not a tank shock, and then it goes back to being a tank shock later!"
Me: "Yeah it doesn't really say any of that in here, how about we just play by what's written in here?"

IMO deff dreads are not worth it. Nor is Ghaz. Let me tell you a little story.

5 pathfinders hiding in some cover. They snipe a squad of 5 tankbusters with 2 squigs and ghaz. 3 Orkz die. Ork player rolls pinning test, and passes. Ork player rolls Leadership, fails. Kills off a tank buster, rolls again. Fails again. His 350+ squad is now running like girls. That's right about when i started laughing.

Just a little lesson,

Thraka has a Ld of 9. Your opponent must have just had crappy rolls and why the leader of the greatest Ork Waaagh! would be hanging out with tankbustas is beyond me. Anyways, my intention is to include him in one of the mobs of 'Ard Boyz, which don't have to worry about leadership tests until they get pretty low in numbers. I know he'll slow them down, but I'm hoping for decent movement rolls and his Waaagh! should help a bit too. I could maybe drop the Big Mek for a Warphead to try and get more Waaagh!'s too. Any reason you would drop the Dredd? Its not here for firepower, but moving cover, a secondary target, and good close combat ability.

If you run Ghazghull, you really want to run as many Orks as you can and swamp the guy. Having a Warphead to try and get a 1st turn Waaagh result wouldn't be a bad thing either, but it's quite a few points tied up in 2 HQ's which are cheerleaders and probably won't see much combat.
