im thinkin 1500 points army and 1850 points army.

my try 1500 is

4 wartrakk, twin-linked rokkit launcha - 160p.

20 orkboyz, shoota
(2) rokkit launcha
(1) nob, pk, bosspole - 180

trukk (- orkboy + warboss) + Rokkit launcha -1p.

trukk+ Rokkit launcha 5p.

343p.

total 1493 points.

How about a large group of lootas for some long range heavy shooting. a group of 12 firing a possible total of 36 shots, no unit will want that coming down on them

Lootas are key in any Ork army now of days. The ability to lay down that much firepower in a single round of shooting is well worth the points. Also get that Warboss on a Bike. A S10 T6 powerhouse that can get into combat any where on the table he choses is not something you want to overlook.
