My Death Korps wannabe army using regular guard codex. Based on the Armageddon Campaign Mechanized Death Korps as noted in the article in a WD that came out during the campaign. Let me know what you think. Commissar is a waste obviously but eh oh well. Plasma gun suicide squad is bad as well but eh oh eh. Its not that bad either vs Terminators or Nidzillas. I'm in my touching up phase with this army with the painting.

2 things to start.

1). You need to organize your list alittle better, its hard to see where the costs of some items are, which leads to a better chance of miscalculations

2). Suicide drop squads are very good for IG because guardsmen are so cheap. As long as you destroy more points than you lost in the suicide squad, you are winning =)

I came up with a 1850 point mech/drop troop guard army, which I think you might might to take a look at. It was cut up and put back together at the dakka. I haven't had a chance to test it because I just got the last parts to put it together, so it is alittle theoretical but if you want I could give you a link to it.
