if the game is 1500 points, you cant play 1505. That defeats the whole purpose of having a point limit. (same goes for 2000 in case you were wondering)
Wow, there are a couple of serious problems here.
your special weapons squads cannot have more than 1 demo charger per squad and they cannot carry plasma guns at all.
your vet squads should be 5 man, you want to make them as cheap as possible because they are suicide squads.
Also, drop the powerfists, they serve very little purpose with the guard in general. If they even get to make it to
cc, which I doubt they will, the vet sergeant holding the first will die well before his I1 S6 fist will hit.
your platoons are pretty damn bad man, you are not giving any squads special weapons but you are giving them vet sergeant with storm bolters? How do you think that is better than sticking a plasma gun in each squad, or any special weapon for that matter.
Your
HQ command squad will be the biggest target because of the amount of points you sunk into it. I really suggest you drop alot of the frills and give him 4 melta/plasma wielding guardsmen. Follow the same advice with your platoon command squads.
I personally think that chem inhalers aren't worth it, but its possible to make them work if you are really good, and judging by this list you aren't
Maybe you don't want a competitive list, but I'm assuming you do want an optimized list with your own mindset. I honestly suggest you go back to the drawing board with this one, or just tell us what exactly you want in a list and I'll do my best to get you a good list soon.
