The first time to post this is my Drop Guard list
It works Real well just want to see what i could do havent got to use the 2000pt list yet

if the game is 1500 points, you cant play 1505. That defeats the whole purpose of having a point limit. (same goes for 2000 in case you were wondering)

Wow, there are a couple of serious problems here.

your special weapons squads cannot have more than 1 demo charger per squad and they cannot carry plasma guns at all.

your vet squads should be 5 man, you want to make them as cheap as possible because they are suicide squads.
Also, drop the powerfists, they serve very little purpose with the guard in general. If they even get to make it to cc, which I doubt they will, the vet sergeant holding the first will die well before his I1 S6 fist will hit.

your platoons are pretty damn bad man, you are not giving any squads special weapons but you are giving them vet sergeant with storm bolters? How do you think that is better than sticking a plasma gun in each squad, or any special weapon for that matter.

Your HQ command squad will be the biggest target because of the amount of points you sunk into it. I really suggest you drop alot of the frills and give him 4 melta/plasma wielding guardsmen. Follow the same advice with your platoon command squads.

I personally think that chem inhalers aren't worth it, but its possible to make them work if you are really good, and judging by this list you aren't

Maybe you don't want a competitive list, but I'm assuming you do want an optimized list with your own mindset. I honestly suggest you go back to the drawing board with this one, or just tell us what exactly you want in a list and I'll do my best to get you a good list soon.


I hope you don't think I'm being rude, I am just trying to be frank with you so you can fix this problem ASAP

hahaha thanks i fixed the 5pt thing and they only take 1 demo charge not 2 and i also dont now why it said plasma.
Well Chem inhaler's are good i dont see why they arent igrones all Negitive Modifers and with LD 10 thats pretty good and i make it work I dont fail LD test like once a game maybe
. The storm Bolters are there to add weight of Fire power cause all the HQ's drop in take care of the heavy infantry 3 Plasma's and a Medic are good. cause i have 10 Plasma's and they all will land and be able to engage and take out the Tagerts The vet's you are right i do need to drop Power fist i will take it in one squad though.
The HQ is there For Phycs Reasons Its a character i made for a mega game and for some reason he always kicks ass like 1st game destory a Monolith witha melta bomb and the list goes on no joke....off topic
the Guardsmen are base because they just cut off groups of infantry and then put 20 shots a squad in to them.
And cause i cant always Deep strike there my foot sloggers i've drawn & won games with them surging forward they denie objectives.
I understand that parts of it seem stupid , but to me it works pretty well.
Guards Men just jump and die so there not worth giving nice Special Weapons.
And as for Scatter i never miss (badly like flying off board or into units ) thats just my lucky qurik
So where ever i want them to go they go

But sorry as for you ideas Like i said probelly will drop powerfist except in one fixed Plasma thing and fixed the 5pts.

I do need sentinals cause they work perfect for drop army

Not to speak for Flagg, but I get the impression he's speechless is because Twigg gave you a set of solid suggestions to improve your list, and you seem to be ignoring some of the most important ones.

It's a sub-optimized list and in many ways goes against most of the strengths of IG, really only focusing on being a meatwave - and with the limited numbers you're fielding, that's not even being optimized.

That being said, if you like the way this list plays - cool. Go ahead and play it that way, but understand that by asking for advice on the list, you're going to get a lot of advice that runs contrary to the way you run the list.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

I know i'm Getting Advice But i dont see how Chem Inhalers are bad..... I'll probelly Drop the Storm Bolters but The sepcial Weapons i need for Tank hunting....
The thing is it is a horde for Drop it's a 105 or so at 1500 and the Squads are very good for killing alot the

HQ's Kill heavy/termie
Spec. Kill Tanks
Vet's 1 Tanks / 2 Heavy inf.
Troops kill Hordes and grab Obj.

I never miss Scatter in the Negitve way *knock on wood*

I rather Give my Men Chem Inhalers so that they can survie after DS in with LD 9 no neg. Then have to relay on my HQ's to come to me. When there hunters

I am in deed droping the Power fist in the Vets but keeping one for fluff and Machrican Cross.
So i can buy a rement Squad of 6 men with a Plasma Pistol and Plasma Gun

Now i am open to ideas please Explain what you would do

I may just buy Bolters cause there 1pt or something ....

The reason No speical Weapons in squad cause there just there cause the 3 squads surround a unit an kill that unit with 60 shots should wound with 20ish on my rolling

Please tell me what yall would do just to hear yall's idea
