by interesting, i mean "it probably won't work, but it's worth trying:"

daemon prince of khorne with wings: 140

10 chaos space marines (150), 1 plasma gun (15), one lascannon (20), icon of nurgle (50) aspiring champion (15) with power weapon(15), rhino (35) with combi weapon (10) total: 310


10 khorne berserkers(210), skull champion(15) with power weapon(15), total: 240 mounted in landraider #1
10 khorne berserkers, same as above. mounted in landraider #2. 240.

10 daemons, 130.

heavy support:
2 landraiders, 440

total: 1500.

notes:
totally screwed against eldars (both kinds) and tau.
otherwise, probably not fairing too badly... 'cept maybe against terminators... meh.

another list:

Daemon prince of khorne with wings: 140.

troops:
10 khorne berserkers, 210, skull champion (15) with power weapon (15) and plasma pistol (15)
total: 265.
mounted in land raider.

15 daemons, 195.

10 chaos space marines (150), 1 lascannon(20), 1 plasma gun(15), champion with power weapon and combi bolter (15+15+5). total: 220.
rhino (35) with combi weapon (10) total: 45.

fast attack:

4 bikes (132), icon of nurgle (50) 1 meltagun (10) champion with power weapon (15+15) total: 222.

heavy support:

landraider with daemonic posession and combi weapon: 250

predator with lascannon sponsons, daemonic possession and combi weapon: 160


total:
1497.
again, screwed against the things I mentioned above, but perhaps, not quite as badly... the bikes could do some serious damage if ignored...
Ideas/suggestions welcomed, and post your own "interesting" lists (IE, stuff no-one takes)
[warn me if my math is off, I made a few mistakes and think I corrected them... anyway...]

The first list needs some units providing cover fire. For this, I'd drop the Tacticals and take a Predator and some Termies.
