I was trying to create a fast, assaulty ork army using the new codex. I was torn between using the Kommandos (10) with the leader that allows you to arrive from any board edge in reserve, or 4 defkoptas with Buzzsaws. With the scout rule the deffkoptas can be in combat on turn one if your opponent is anywhere withing 6" of his deployment edge. The Kommandos would have to make a reserve roll to come in and have no power fist but 2 burnas. What do you guys think?

"Do NOT ask me if you can fire the squad you forgot to shoot once we are in the assault phase, EVER!!!"

Skinkrot is extremely killy even without a pw. I've used him a few times and I find him amazing against IG but average against MEQ. With his high strength and furious charge he has popped a couple back AV10 vehicles.

Defkoptas are nice but they feel so weak vs the points they cost. I don't like sending them against anything but light hitting infantry. I use Stormboyz in the strategic place that Defkoptas would be.

What point size are you looking at?
