2XWarboss
power klaw, warbike
2X125pts

Troops
2X Nobz
4Nobz,1Painboyz with Bike
1power klaw, Waaagh!banner,1shoota/skorcha kombi-weapon
2X300pts

Do you think this is kind of odd for an Ork army ? I have used up 850pts here and got myself only 12 models. my idea for this small army is mainly based on a easy building and hit hard elite KOS scout force ,sure the nobbikes will die from Lascannon , Missileauncher ,railgun and other high Strength low AP stuff but combin with their speed and cover save also due to the enemy lack of anti-tank gun in a 1k pts battle ,I think they will be ok during enemy's shooting phase , and in CC they are just hard as nail. They should do also fine in the leaked 5th ed rules, since they even got 3+ cover save when turbo boosting, also 2 troop choice give them chance to conquer enemy's objective, and they should be more survivable on the battle, because 5th ed nerf the rending and powerfist.

and now is the question: what should I do with the rest 150pts ? I have thought some solutions for example one stromboyz mob to tie enemy's screening units,or some lobbas to let the enemy no where to hide , or some deffkoptas ,or more boyz mobs ,even some buggys to make extra protection for the bikes by shilding ahead. so what's your idea on this ? thx advance

Nice idea I might try it out sometime ( I have so many bikes collecting dust).

One place to spend points would be on those bosses, Attack Squig, Cybork are both becoming pretty standard choices.

Instead of that you have three different elite choices that cost 15 points a model for a troup of ten or two units of five.
-Lootas will rip alot of things apart in 1K, light vehicles/exposed infantry
-Tankbustas are more usefull at 1K because thier is less armor they are forced to shoot at and str 8 ap 3 is just plain needed
-Burnas are really nice templates against bugs and good at cooking Termies on the charge.

If you were going to play against light armored enemy I would take lootas but otherwise I would probly split burnas and tankbustas.

thx, because the 1k pts limit I dont have too much point to spend on upgrads and in the leaked 5th ed Powerklaw will also no longer benefite from onther weapons or upgrads .

IMHO Tankbustas and Burnas are both lack of mobility since I dont got extra points for their transport ,this way they will not be able to match the tactic of those bikes. lootas may be a good idea but I am afraid that due to fewer target choices , lootas will be shot to pieces in early turns ,compare to them lobbas have some advantages like hide behind and blast will prevent enemy stack together which is good for bikes to assault (keep in mind that blast will possibly be buffed in 5th ed).

I believe the attack squig still works in 5th, the wargear applys an additional attack to the base model not because it is a weapon.

Well anyways, field what you want then. But I'll warn you to stay away from lobbas, guess weapons are not what a speedy/assaulty army needs.
