I was wondering what you thought. I wanted to try out a Seer Council on Jetbikes and see how they perform. Probably just gonna play some games with friends with proxies before I go all out converting them.

I am going with the 6 locks with enhance embolden and 3 destructors as dicussed in the thread about seer on jetbikes.

Fire Dragons are for Anti Tank.

Going with Jetbike troops I been liking them better then Guardians/Avengers in Wavesepents lately.

Vyper for flanking attacks and just more shots had to take off the shuriken cannon to fit in the locks.

Usual tricked out Falcons and Fire Prism.

Should I be trying to find some points for Shining Spears to combo with the Seer council? I know Stelek mentioned Shining Spears comboing well with the seer council but they seem like another expensive unit.

The Vyper won't serve you very well, it's easily destroyed in a list like this because there's nothing else to shoot at.

The Council could use another member. 2 destructor templates is usually enough, 3 has a high chance of not having more than 1 target to hit, taking you out of assault range, causing so many casaulties the unit you are shooting breaks (and no assault), or just being mispositioned so it can't fire at all anyway.

Spears are a hammer unit. The council (against weak saves) is also a hammer unit but it serves equally well as a anvil unit for the Spears to strike repeatedly.

A Fire Dragon Exarch with a dragons breath flamer adds a bit of flex to the unit, in that you can deep fry congested units with crack shot. You can usually get away with a squad of 5 dragons. 4 Fusion Guns will down or stun most tanks at close range.

It's a near copy of what I usually run, though my usual points for lists are higher (1850-2000).

Good list, if you like the Jetbike Council style.

I agree that the Vyper would be better replaced with another jetbike unit. Scrap the Vyper, strip the shuricannon from the Prism, downgrade the scatter laser on one of the Falcons to a shuricannon, and that should give you the points. The higher volume of anti-infantry fire will do you good, and the higher model count amy help too.

I'm up in the air about the exarchs in the Dragons. You'll only be using them against anything other than vehicles against extreme hordes, so I'd say keep the 6 fusion guns instead. It's one more bulwark against totally crap rolling turning your sure-thing vehicle kill into a frustrating loss of 6 Dragons for no good reason. They always die, so make sure their sacrifice is a good one.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

Well actually if you place your Fire Dragons correctly, you can often fry with the Exarch and still knock a tank out.

Given the mobility available to the Falcon, it's not difficult to do.
