Hello Dakka-

New to this forum, which probably seems hard to believe because I've been playing 40k for almost four years. Yes, I know this is the source. . . but I just got here. I started gaming in Milwaukee and am currently in the process of relocating to the Philadelphia area. If anybody knows of a good club in Philly that likes old guys I'd appreciate a heads up.

I play for the story and to build. I love 40k, the whole damned universe. Above all else I love the spectacle of the game.

I started by building terrain; and then Guard was my first army, infantry heavy, and those guys have now turned into a large-ish traitor guard force. Then came the Lost and Damned (R.I.P.), who are my favorite army, though sadly now unsupported by policy wonks up the corporate chain. I don't really care about winning or losing, and I don't care much about the holes in the rules, but I am a little irked that the dropped my army right out of the universe.

My dirty little secret? I have 700 guardsmen; converted, built, painted, and ready to raise a ruckus.

xoxo

yakface's 40K rule #1: Although the rules allow you to use modeling to your advantage, how badly do you need to win your toy soldier games?
yakface's 40K rule #2: Friends don't let friends start a MEQ army.
yakface's 40K rule #3: Codex does not ALWAYS trump the rulebook, so please don't say that!

Frazzled[Mod] On Rule #1- No it literally means: be polite. If we wanted less work there would be no OT section.
Chowderhead - God no. If I said Pirates Honor, I would have had to kill him whether he won or lost.
