Just curious if anyone has played much FOW at 600 points? Mostly we play at 1500, but I think the local store is going to be organizing a Late War 600 point tourney, and I'm planning on playing in it.

Any ideas on what is good to focus on at 600 points, because obviously you cannot take everything. My first idea was to take German Grenadiers with the HQ mortars, with two full platoons of Grenadiers with Panzerfausts backed up by a couple Marders or Brummbärs. I was also thinking of dropping one of the Grenadier platoons (you only need one combat platoon at 600 points) and taking scouts (maybe with assault rifles) and then a pair of StuGs.

Then, I also had an idea of trying Soviets, because I don't think it would take me too long to get 600 points of them. I was thinking just a swarm of infantry, with maybe a few SU-76s, or sappers or flame throwers.

Any thoughts on 600 point tactics or army lists?

600 point games are quick and lots of fun.
The guys over at Flames Of War New England Just had a Good sized event at 600 points that was a all day event.
Your question would get lots of feed back over there!
