Has anyone gotten one of these things including the Krieg guys standing around? I was thinking of getting a nice, extremely cheap set of 50 guys for $100 if I cut them up. That's half an IG army right there. I think I can probably cut them apart with minimal damage which some GS should take care of, but I don't know how difficult it is since the sprue pictures are not that big.

Isn't it resin? GW resin is very hard to work with in my experience.

I cut through GW resin easier than plastic at times. Especially with a saw or drill. Way easier than plastic. You can snap things in half pretty easily too.

But yeah, doing that many separations will probably kill my will to live.

With the galaxy as large as it is the odds of the average guardsmen seeing and fighting a marine or MEQ are relatively slim. Unfortunately the guardsmen in your (and anyone else who plays IG's) army are the REALLY, REALLY LUCKY ones that fight marines ALL the time...

Wow, neat. So did you find it very hard to cut around guns? If I mostly had to cut around elbows and cloth I wouldn't mind since those are easier to shape with greenstuff.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

just a reminder:

It is important to remember to wear a mask when cutting up resin.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

Thanks guys. I've had to deal with resin already since I have ~8 FW crisis suits. It gives me a good excuse to wear a fun gasmask though.

I was going to say lifting weights but you get all sorts of tumors sprouting up on your arms and legs.
