There an easy way to get green stuff off of puter metal models? Like perhaps some solution I can soak it in that won't damage the puter itself? Takin forever to remove what I have to using a razor

EDIT: Similar question with glue on plastic, easy way to remove without damaging the plastic?

Glue on plastic? Depends on the glue. If it's a styrene glue, it acts by disolving the plastic, and the drying so the 2 plastic pieces bond as 1. If it's super glue, then just gently scrape, and it'll break off.

As for removing green stuff from pewter, I have no idea. I'd try using pine sol, or brake fluid (that's how you remove paint). It might loosen it, or soften it.

for removeing green stuff on pewter try Goof off, it works like a charm....although be warned it will take off all the rest of the paint...and super glue....

i definately wouldnt use goof off on plastives as it will melt them though

Goof off is turpentine, or however you spell that word, so regular paint-thinner ought to work aswell.

With glue on plastic, you can use simple green, which I believe is a house hold cleanser. The other thing that might work is freezing before you scrape, cold makes most glues brittle, so it should help.

I soak all my metal models in nail polish remover and then in brake fluid. Plastics just in brake fluid.

I'm told that simple green is superior, but I have yet to ever remember to buy any, while I have an ample supply of brake fluid and nail polish remover on hand.

Just forget it - your 'puter is a goner! What were you doing sticking green stuff on your computer in the first place? Making a Necron titan constuct for Apockieklypse?

I tried to convert an image on the net of a titan to nurgle cus it was cheaper than buying one.. didn't work too well though cus it doesn't fit on the battlefield and needs to be plugged in. Now my 'puter monitor just has green stuff blocking everything I try to read, makes it hard to look at porn when everything is censored by green stuff!

But seriously..thanks for the infos
