I'm trying to give myself a little break from playing 40k and I'm going to get some practice games in with my sister who plays Wood Elves. We have about 500 points worth so this is my list for what I will be teaching her and myself the rules with until we can find more people.

Damsel lvl 1- Horse w/ barding, lore of beasts - 84

Paladin - BSB - 74

x5 Knight's Errant - Musician - 107
Paladin placed in unit

x5 KotR - 120
Damsel placed in unit

x20 Men at Arms - Musician, standard - 115

Total - 500

I'm debating whether to dump the Knight's Errant and run 2 blocks of 20 Men at Arms or 15-16 per block

Last time I played fantasy was in 2004, so I am dang rusty.

Please destroy my list, if there is a better list for a friendly evenly balanced beginning game!

All mounted Bretonnia lists are quite a bore-> point and charge.
Skirmishing bowmen are allways usefull in a Bretonnia army.
M@A are of better use in bigger games..

With only 500 points I would recommend using Borderpatrol rules..

The compulsory BSB is a real point drain in 500 points.
Upping to 750 points would give you a bit more breathing space..
