I'm just new here and have decided to start this blog to show you my Skitarii force and get some feedback to improve them.

For this Adeptus Mechanicus army I'll be using Codex: Witch Hunters. Skitarii will be fielded as storm troopers, with 1 (maybe later 2) squad(s) of Sisters of Battle as veteran Skitarii. For my Tribune I intend to use a Canoness. This Tribune will join a squad of Velites (Seraphim) as a counter-assault unit. At least one knight will be added as heavy support (a warden with missile pods - an Exorcist) and all Skitarii squads will have transports.

My first squad of 10 Skitarii is has just been assembled and GS'ed and will be painted later this week. Here they are:

The unfinished ones in two groups of four:

Two finished Skitarii and what will probably end up to be the Veteran Sergeant in my squad of veterans:

The three of them with my scratchbuilt Chimera:

And another shot of the Chimera:

The faces of the finished models are probably going to be redone; I'm not entirely happy with them.
Constructive criticism would be appreciated.

Before you let the GS dry, dip your fingertips into water and rub your fingerprints to get rid off them.

Saliva works as a good (readily available!) lubricant as well to help get rid of fingerprints. I wouldn't suggest using it after any big meals involving garlic though ^_-.

Ditto on the saliva recommendation! I use it all the time. (Mine... not Grey_ Death's) The scratchbuilt Chimera looks good. There are a few parts where you can see the card stock showing....dunno how to fix that, just letting you know. Other than the tiny fingerprints in the GS, I can't think of any criticism. Looks good overall and will probably look fantastic when it is completed.

First off: thanks for the tip.

Now, update time!
Squad 1 is finished, and the Rhino for squad 2 is just over halfway assembled (from cardboard).
Behold:

The plasma gunners:

The other guys:

With their transport:

Next will be squad 2 and their Rhino. I'm not sure wether to equip the squad with plasma or melta's, however. The only other anti-tank I've got planned so far is an exorcist (a knight warden with missile pods) and I might be facing a LRC with my Skitarii. Should I be going with melta's or should I get plasma and go for another Exorcist in the near future? (Or should I give my Velites (Seraphim) meltabombs?)

Give them some meltas; assault weapon, no "get's hot" and tank buster. Once you start rolling 1's, your plasmas ain't that cool. And remember when you rapid fire plasmas get hot on 1 or 2...
