So I bought a Kodiak yesterday and I was painting/assembling and I came to the shocking realization that my Kodiak had two left arms!! Has anything like this happened to anyone else? If so, how did you go about fixing the problem?

Find the small slip of "packed by#" paper in your package if you still have it. Email frontdesk@privateerpress.com with your problem and packing slip # and they will send you a new one out in the mail no problems.
I had a Skarre that came with no horns and they sent me some new ones out PDQ.

what he said. Only time i had it was with a box of goblins, but that arm (the spear) is molded that way so it's tuff luck. Busineses are generally pretty good at sorting problems like this.

I once got a 54mm Kroot with two left legs. I got it NIB off ebay, I didn't think it was worth trying to get it replaced as I would have had to go to GW or get a refund from the seller. I'll just give him a bionic leg from a Sentinel or something.

They don't always need the packing slip number. If it's the
only time you email the front desk, they probably won't
push for it. If you constantly get problems I'm sure they'll
raise an eyebrow.
They're really good about replacing that stuff though.

I hear you on that one. GW is crap if you have a problem.
On a positive note, Privateer already got back to me and my new right arm is already in the mail. Let's hear it for customer service!!!

I've actually written Adam A LOT lately as I keep having missing parts (behemoth's thumb, missing Skorne sgt., Jonne's arquebus, etc.), and I've not had the 'packed by' slip a couple of times, and he's been cool about it. Especially for smaller bits, they know you're trying to replace a part, not build a warjack from cobbled parts or anything.
I've found their support to be excellent by the way.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.
I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil |

You should build a warjack from cobbled parts. That would
be hilarious. It'll be a warjackedupbeast.

Actually, there's a monster in Monsternomicon Volume 2 and a recent No Quarter called a Junker Hulk that's basically a crazy cortex and whatever parts it can bind to itself. So not only would that mini look cool, malf, it would also be useful if you play the IKRPG.

The packing number is so they can find out who screwed up the packing and see whether they have a big problem to correct with further training or a process revision or if it's just an occasional mistake.
If you don't have the packing number they won't refuse to help you. It's not a proof of purchase or anything like that. It's just a component of their quailty assurance program to help them track problems back to a person or packing station.
Where you'd have trouble is if you tried to scam them and said "hey, I'm missing a mariner card in my mariner". Then you get the card and two days later you say " Hey, my mariner is missing a left arm!" Then it's " Hey, My mariner is missing a right leg!" Hey, my mariner is missing a forward torso! Hey, My mariner is missing a head! Hey, My mariner is missing a right arm! Hey! My mariner is missing a rear toso! Hey! My Mariner is missing a crotch! They do track stuff like this. On the other hand they have people buy $400 worth of stuff from the warstore or dungeontrader(who sells sets of every starter box and blister from wave 1 and 2 for Hordes) and a lot that big often has some problems that need a lot of emailing to resolve.

Well God-****ing-damn.
When I saw this topic I was slightly worried that my Dire troll might not arrive complete. I got it today and what do you know, one of the teeth is missing. I can easily remedy this without having to call them and then wait x days for a replacement, but it has rather undermined my confidence in PP.
There's no packing slip in the box, but the sticker says "packed by JR eurofrontdesk". I'm sure this JR character must be some lazy Frenchman.
