Ifurita, the Mike Kan paint is your website, right? Just
making sure before we all start going willy nilly reposting
everything on the Internet. (though I'm sure yakface's list
of bookmarks would prove, um, instructional)

I'd say a pin vice (& rod) and some type of epoxy putty should be added to the essentials.

I do agree that should be part of the basic tool kit, but not for the person who's picking up figures and paints for the first time

I avoid pinning as much as possible. I regret it from time
to time, but usually I'm quite happy with the results.

WHy? That makes no sense you fool.

You say sometimes you have regrets, just go buy a driller and you can erease them permenantly. What are you scared of?I know it's not a money issue. You're on crazy teacher money. I'm guessing it's either your weak arms or just sheer laziness (both traits common to teachers).

Laziness!

I don't like pinning. I usually just use greenstuff and zap a
gap. It's good enough to get me by.

I also don't like slipping the drill bit into my hand and
leaving a tiny sliver under the skin that lasts for weeks
at a time.

Sounds like someone just needs to be a little more careful.
