Just read this! I'm so glad someone else uses PP/Word this way. The amount of looks I get for drawing proffesional bits for our website in word is anoying. It's so simple to use and once you get the hand of it is much quicker than using many of the more complicated things out there such as photoshop! The option to colour with the various textures or your own photos also opens up even more posibilities!

That is awsome!! how do you print them off to the right size then??

They shall be my finest warriors, these men who give of themselves to me. Like clay I shall mold them, And in the furnace of war I shall forge them. They will be of iron will and steely muscle. In great armor shall I clad them, and with the mightiest of guns will they be armed. They are my bulwark against the Terror. They are the Defenders of Humanity. They are my Space Marines, and they shall know no fear.

And Photoshop actually requires you to know A little bit more about it, and what you are actually doing. PowerPoint, of even any other Microsoft Office program has these basic tools, and they are clearly labeled and simple enough to use.

A lot of people will have access to Microsoft Office through work or school/college/university. Photoshop is a bit harder to get hold of (although GIMP is free, if not quite as powerful).

If you already have Powerpoint and know how it works, then something like Photoshop could be too much of a step up to be worth bothering with.
