Yup! Great game as it's simple and intuitive to play.

It's best played using the Air War campaign rules as games are relatively fast and it's much more fun to have to attack/defend and manage your ground defence and attack assets.

It's even more fun to build aces and track their records.

I always felt that forge world would do better with this game if the rules where a free PDF or something, but because i dont know anyone who plays, even though the game has appealed i just wont spend that kind of money on a rule set that i could end thinking is gak.

It's actually a really, really fun game. And although the rulebook is expensive, it is really pretty and the game, overall is pretty cheap. You can buy 2 planes for about $25 and 4 planes is all you need for most games.

Give it a shot, I think you'll like it.

Better still, play it with 40k planes.

heheh, wont that be cramped with a 12inch movement?

OT: IA is really cool, well worth the effort, though i agree that they´d probably sell more planes if they at least gave the basic rules as a PDF.

Yup, awesome game. Only really got into it because I already had a load of ork fightas for epic and my housemate picked up the rulebook, otherwise don't think I'd ever have played it - the asking price for the rule book is a bit steep IMO (although it does have lovely pics)
