I'm going to preface this by saying that the only Chaos power I will ever field is Tzeentch. Even if allowed to field other powers in my lists now, I won't, so I'd like to head off any suggestions of adding Khorne to my list.

That said, I tried to stick to my original theme as closely as possible (just a handful of elite men, daemons, and giant engines of war), but given that I used to be able to get away with not fielding infantry at all, that's not quite possible. But here goes:

Thoughs from the community at large? Am I nuts, or does this have a shot? Tzeentch is supposed to sling a lot of magic, and at least now I can get some variety in my spell optionas (being able to use any lore from the BRB).

Could work. Between the spells and the Hellcannon at least you can put some pressure on the enemy and deal out some damage at range.

But I have too little experience with the new list to really give substantive advice.

All I got is to say the list is very interesting, and good on you for continuing with the new mortals list. Hope to hear how it works on the table, it looks like it has what it needs to bring the pain. The min core options are unfortunate - What's the plan? More bait-n-flee with them, or possibly hoping for a fortunate flank charge? - and I wonder if the new demon prince is better than the old one was. Probably, but curious what it can pull off now.

Actually, I can't field that list, as I don't have sufficient Marauders (the few I have were mostly bastardized for Mordheim and GorkaMorka), any Warhounds, or enough Knights. It was mostly rolling with the punch and seeing what people thought about the idea. But, as GW has promised that nothing is going away, I may playtest and actually work toward the army.

I do have a sweet DP converted that I've been looking for a reason to paint (as it wasn't really worth fielding in the old book).
