obviously I get more units if i trade Bloodthirster but I might have lost the "punch" to deal with large monsters such as treemen, dragons whatnot.... I think the hellfire will be great especially the khorne unit will be in the depth of combat and that will guarantee a dispel scroll or 2 DD...

Basically I try to have a beefy unit of Bloodletters or plaguebearers there and then 3 tzeentch heralds for magic. any suggestions?

Your Horror & plaguebearer units are far too small, and will quickly disappear after losing a combat.
Also, drop wings from one Tzeentch herald, and maybe Master of Sorcery too. Take Power Vortex instead, and stick the non-flyer in the Horror unit so that Locus can boost their ward save.

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

Blue scribes

8PD/6DD, 1 "bound spell"

The strategy is to use my main khorne unit beat the snot out of opponents of ALL sizes using static and killing power - relying more on static res against Large monsters since no GD in this army. The hounds, flamers furies horrors will be setup one on each side protecting the flanks. The seekers will be where the enemy's fast cav/skirmishers/warmachine is located. The blue scribes is used so I can use it to force out DD and could get lucky getting a decent spell off - I will probably use Fire and Heaven/death frequently as they have more of the direct damage spells. Horrors will probably get their fire off most of the time with the 3+ and that could potentially force more DD out and my heralds of tzeentch can go for the bigger spells. This army might fall to mobs where they just have tons of static res units pushing up and forcing me to frontal charge with everyone -even that I think a combined charge of hounds and furies can make quick work of them - especially the 6d6 from flamer support will burn a hole through them before they get close to me.

Also thought of using the Hellfire but was a little short on points and would have to have removed the siren standard to make room for it.

Can this beat 'em up?
