couple posts on here about what is needed and not good in a lizardmen list so i thought I'd post my unconventional lizzy list. now this list has only been used in my local gaming group so it is effective against them and may not be for all areas but some things in the list IMO seem to be good against almost any army type out there.

Lords and Heroes
-Saurus Scar Veteran: 170
w/ Spawning of Sotek and Itzl, Sword of the Hornet, Enchanted Shield, Light Armor, Cold One

-Saurus Scar Veteran: 205
w/ Spawning of Quetzl and Itzl, Sword of Might, Aura of Quetzl, Light Armor, Cold One

-Skink Priest: 125pts
w/ Level 2 Wizard, Diadem of Power

-Skink Priest: 125pts

the reason that i have the big blocks of saurus in here is no one else does it, and as of late it has paid off nicely especially with the spawnings on them. being able to charge in with 16 S4 attacks plus the scar vets 5 S5's is quite nice and will hammer down most any opponent, especially anything T3. The quetzl guys are marked just so they would fit more fluffy with the scar vet and would have a nice 3+ save in CC. I used to have 2 units of 4 kroxies but changed the list up more to incorporate the teradons and another skink unit to bolster numbers and versatility, plus the teradons just rip through gun hills and auto rallying is quite nice if you ask me. also there is no JSOD or steggy just because i hate doing what everyone else does and wanted to change up the way people play lizzies. also there is no slaan because fluff wise they only come out of their meditations to defend a city in danger and thus in my mind would not be on the battlefield in a game any smaller than 3000 and up. anyway this is my list i like it so feel free to rip it apart or ask any questions.

well i like you list far more than the other on the pure basis that you actually have some ranked up infantry, to be honest you need need the units to be so large however, 19 is fine, maybe get some cavalry?

i do love the huge ranked up units, but i do them with 22 and the mounted character to get 4 by 6, which is frontage enough to destroy most anything i come up against. also then i will outnumber most other block troops save big empire/goblin spear blocks, but after kills and such i might be close to that anyway.

to be honest right if you 6 wide with two attacks each + characters you dont need max combat res, you could easily scale the unit down to 16 (18 with hero), you still have a mountain load of attacks after all.
