Ive been gone for quite some while from fantasy and am now currently looking for the most cheezy/boring/dangerous yaddayadda type of HE thing around(usually the ones everyone hate to face at tournaments). Been reading that they are supposed to be so dangerous but dont really have a clue on whats run in a fantasy army nowdays, so why not ask here where we know that power is the way to go. No comp, sports or whatever, just mayor killyness. Doesnt have to be originall or anything.

High Elves in general are not that threatening. To make a tough to beat list that will cause your opponent much grief do something like

Teclis
Dragon Mage
Commander w/ Reaver Bow

10 Archers
10 Archers

23 Pheonix Guard
12 Sword Master
12 Sword Master
6 Dragon Princes

Bolt Thrower
Bolt Thrower
2 Great Eagles.

Something like this should be a good start.

Doesn't Teclis count as a Lord choice?

Also, you've listed four Rare choices.

Great Eagles are still 2 for 1 aren't they?

If they are drop one and add in 2 Lion Chariots. you should come in at around 2250 with that list.

High Elves get 4 Rare choices at 2250.

There are basically 2 options in a no-comp. environment.

One is a star dragon, the other is Teclis, and both include 3 to 4 Repeater Bolt Throwers.

The star dragon is usually accompanied by a large unit of dragon princes with a BSB.

Teclis lists usually bring a large unit of Pheonix guard with the banner of sorcery. Caradryan is also brought to be a bodyguard for Teclis.

Forgot they expanded the rare choices as well.

They're not 2 for 1 though. I guess adding the choices
up to four and dropping the choices down to one per
choice is still very similar, but not exactly the same as
before.

Apologies.
