Don't know anything about ONI, but check out how that TacArm is integrated into the bare flesh. And of course the trooper... I may be selling my Red Blok, once those guys come out.

I have no idea what your talking about. The first pic is definitely the best of the bunch. I've always been one for the thin look though. Guess I really don't like the hyper masculine Space Marines.

COGS aren't blowing me away with these basic troopers ... BUT holy crap, the ONI tac-arm is excellent

The ONI trooper is groovy too, quite Jin-Roh to me. I've never heard of ONI though, another new faction alongside the COGS?

The Cogs in PIC1 are, right now, a major letdown.

It is a WIP, so I suppose there's hope.

The basic Cogs are *extremely* disappointing compared to the preview sketches. Too spindly and organic, and the goofy CCWs don't help at all. Plus the armor design doesn't make any sense.

The ONI guys look *great*. *Way* better than the Cogs. If this is going to be a new AT-43 army faction, that would be awesome!

these are probably new factions for operation frostbite just like the therians got.

I dig the realistic rifle position on the ONI trooper.

Maybe the Cogs' other troops will make them more interesting. Like, say, minis without silly nerf-looking swords in their hands.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

I really like the Cogs. Well sculpted spindly bug-eyed aliens! And keep in mind that the Cogs are a sort of collective, so there may be lots of variety in bodytypes.

@Boss_Salvage - "Jin-Roh" - that's what he reminds me of too. Always dug that look. Those may become my new IG proxies.

Man, I wish these came unpainted...

All I can find about ONI is that those new "medical mercenaries" figs are affiliated with them: "A new protagonist in the war stepped into the light when Operation: Elysée began: MedTec is originally a U.N. interstellar company and a subsidiary of ONI Technologies.

The ONI are Jin-Roh-tastic, and are very exciting.

I like the Cogs--they're very steampunk-anime, kinda girl-geniusy. I don't know that they fit the [i]ouvre[i] of AT-43 per se, but I dig 'em. Perhaps I'll get a box for VSF?

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

Oni is an army of its own and the cogs consist of four genetically related species. BTW, the cogs above are rather close to the drawings, they are based on the guy on the left on the recently released sketch.

Exactly, I want a Cerebus banner for them.

The cogs remind me of the termite people from Attack of the Clones

The O.N.I Corp trooper looks ok nothing really new their.

The tac-arm is screaming for a Obliterator conversion.

I actually really like the Cogs, I dig the organic MGS4 robot look they have.

What I do not dig, however are there crazy chainsword keytaur hybrids. Maybe the Cogs use bad synth to conquer the galaxy.

Well, the COGS look better than the Skinnies. Same general look, though. Bad.

YES. The conquer the universe with ROCK!!

I actually thought they looked like TV antennae, but who uses those anymore?

The cogs, ONI... it is just pics full of win. Total awesome.

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

I am surprised nobody here recognized the cog hand weapon.

The style is reminiscent of a "Macahuitl" or "Macano". You know, those wooden obsidian blade weapons from ancient south america?

I think they look pretty cool.

Obsidian is very sharp and holds an edge.

Too bad the Cogs are using the Nerf version of it without any sharp edges...

Perhaps its like a Arbites shock maul.

Except that it is padded with nerf. Recommended fun for ages 6 and above. (Karmans need not apply)
