Greetings.
I am getting back into Mord after a few years break. I used to play Skaven alot and am looking at starting a Shadow Warriors Warband. I was wondering if anyone could post a few suggestions on what this bands Strengths and weaknesses are and possibly a example of a solid starting warband.
Thank you

I don't have the rules for the Shadow Warriors, wish I could help!!I heard that they are pretty sick though, almost broken.

The blood of the living will flow and their dead shall swell my ranks.

2400pts- Vampire Counts
3000+pts- Bretonnia
3000+pts Dark Eldar
1500pts- Deamon Hunters

Shadow Warrioirs strength when you first start out is the super rare equipment they get. The bows and cloaks are brutal. Usually that means you start with 4 or 5 guys, max, and not even close to max heroes. what is important is to have at least 2 reg henchmen, and cater to your strengths. you can run and shoot all day, and with movment 5, only skaven can keep up early.

I recommend

Shadow Master--Dagger, Sword, Elf Bow.

Shadow Weaver--Daggerx2, Bow

Shadow Walker-- Daggerx2, Elf Bow

Shadow Warriorsx2--Daggerx2, Elf Bow

Shadow Novicex2--Dagger, Sword, Bow.

I intentionally didn't add the other two Shadow Walker heroes, since you can buy them later, and they come equipped from the starting list, so 2-5 games down the road, you can hire a fresh shadow walker with an elven cloak to give to a different character.

Oh, and BTW, hold off as long as you can on hiring new recruits. Gaining massive Warband XP the first couple of games will really help you, with a few skills(and a lucky Hench advancement or two) you can completely wreck people.

I remembered when they banned Shadow warrior in turnies, i like them though they drop VC warbands like no tomorrow

And whilst you're pointing and shouting at the boogeyman in the corner, you're missing the burglar coming in through the window.

Well, Duh! Because they had a giant Mining ship. If you had a giant mining ship you would drill holes in everything too, before you'd destory it with a black hole
