Ok, im new to Dakka, i just thought i'd share a few pics of a recent model i have made to get your oppinions, also im in need of ideas of how to start with 2 other models (fateweaver and skarbrand) both models have interested me alot and would make for interesting convertions.

Fateweaver

I was thinking of taking the easy option and going straight forthe LOC model, and using both heads supplied, that would then mean im missing a neck for him, but after searching for ages i came up with the idea of using the galrauch model, the neck shows alot of mutation, and also the wings would look alot better on the LOC, but im still stuck for ideas on the staff.

Skarbrand

Once again i was thinking of going with the basic greater daemon base, with the bloodthirster it would be easy enough to just remove the whip and replace with another axe then destroy the wings to a certain extent, but i was thinking of going for a different base model entirely, any ideas? using GS isnt a problem to a certain degree (i can do most things with it, but still cant re-build faces ect)

here are a few pics of my Daemon prince (sorry for bad pics, camera is still playing up after it went for a swim lol.

(sorry if the pics dont come out, this is the 1st time ive posted on here, letalone posted a pic.
ok, after an update the pics now work lol, sorry.

paint job is very scruffy due to me painting it at 4am (as you do)
it will be re-painted at some point once i get enough time off work.

yep.

head is an ogre hunters belt buckle, body is a broodlord, as are the legs, but with the spikes removed and the ribs fused with GS.
arms are ork, one with the kommando's power klaw, the glaive is just an old banner pole with 2 ork choppers cut to fit, tabbards and armour are all ork boyz / marauders parts.
wings are cut down plastic dragon wings with heads attatched from the goblin sprues.
the main and fur was just GS built up to conver certain joins.
i think thats everything.

Next project (along with a few special greater daemons) is another daemon prince, this time more towards nurgle, i was thinking about going for the grim reaper look, but adding plenty of nurgle toutches to it, now just need a base model to start it all off.
