Ok, so Knights Exemplar are exemplar.

Exemplar Errant are exemplar.

These guys benefit from Gravus' abilities, and from Epic Kreoss' Elite Cadre rule.

What about Exemplar Vengers? Both the previous units say "Protectorate Exemplar unit" in their entry, but these guys don't. Yet Gravus can use his abilities on them [right? Or do they only get the extra charge thingy, and not the resolve tokens or no-knockdown abilities?].

Exemplar Seneschal - not an Exemplar, right, because he's a solo? So he doesn't get the rules.

Mostly I'm concerned with the Vengers. I know the Seneschal won't benefit them, but if Epic Kreoss gives them all extra MAT then I'd be very pleased, and it would go along with my theme as well.

1. A seneschal allows you to field an extra Knights Exemplar
OR an extra Exemplars Errants unit.

2. Elite cadre benefits the KE AND the KEE (it also allows
them to charge incorporeal models as per an errata).

3. Exemplar Seneschals, Exempar Vengers, KEs and KEEs
all give Gravus resolve tokens tokens.

Why?

Knights Exemplar are Knights Exemplar and Errants are
Knights Exemplar unit, which are affected by Grand
Exemplar Kreoss's Elite Cadre rule and the Seneschal
solo's Field Allowance rule (I forget the name).

Exemplar Vengers are listed as a Protectorate Cavalry
unit and not as a Knights Exemplar unit, and so they
don't benefit from Elite Cadre.

All the models have the word Exemplar, and give up
resolve tokens for GRavus when they die or are RFP.
