ok, since im going to be making alot of genestealer hybrids i thought i might aswell carry on my tyranid army i started ages ago.
i know, too many projects to work on, but i like to keep busy.
the trygon is currently waiting on more parts (talons and more green stuff)
the malanthrope is 95% finished, still needs the fins on its back filled in due to the person who put it together messed it up lol.
and of course it needs painting, but that will come soon, untill then, just a few pics to show how big he is (using one of my fave models as scale)
the trygon will be slightly smaller, but alot more chunky.
and, on a final note, it will have alot of converted rippers on the malanthropes base, but to make painting easier they will come later.









still needs a bit of patching up with more GS, but its a start.

thanks thing, i was planning on making him bigger, but it would have to be in tail length, and if i did that then the body would look too small and need building up, well, more than i have allready done.

ok, got the big critter painted now, and as allways i use a nurgle theme lol, not sure why, i just love to paint a model using only inks, washes and dry-brushing.
anyways, heres a few pics for you to enjoy / pick faults with lol.
oh, and the base isnt done, im not sure how i will be doing the bases yet, that will be sorted out once all of my parts arrive.











Also, on a side note, im interested in buying ripper swarms (5 per base) and only if your selling 5+ of them.

i absolutely LOVE the conversion. but imo the tendrils are too red. almost looking like lipstick

i know enmitee, i need to dull them down a bit, they have been 7 different colours allready while i was trying to find one that would suit it best.

Try yellow, layer from really dark yellow, maybe even catachan green to almost white, looks realyl nice and nuglish

ilike the thing's idea, its color could be similar to the malathropes skin itself except a bit lighter in color or glossier

currently lent my camera to a friend, so WIP shots of the trygon wont be put up untill tomorrow, but nearly done it now.
