Ld tested and decided to set up first and go first...? meh...!
this is the setup
1st marker - first floor of building in the middle of the board
2nd marker - in the open on the centarl left-hand side of the board
3rd marker - first floor of intact building in Arbite deployment
4th marker - first floor of the ruined building in Chaos deployment

I tried to seize the inititive but rolled a 5 and failed!... so close!!!

Arbites moved out and fired their limited anti-tank at the dreads... one dread shaken
Chaos rhinos all roll out across the field to claim objectives...
PM melta fails to damage Repressor.
Rhino bolters kill one of the Cyber-mastiffs

CC dreads move out and then run forward 3" and 1" (we question this because one was shaken... but he's not shooting, he's running)

Arbites Marched forward
Plasma gun Arbites open the top of the repressor and fire out, blowing a arm off the farside Dread.
more arbitor grenader and missile fire see's both dreads

Chaos 2units of reserves arrive terminators and a squad of Lesser Daemons.
terminators scatter 1 terminator in the squad dies to teleporting into the building...
a Chaos Rhino tries a tank shock and kills a death or glory Missile Launcher arbite... "i am the laaaawww..." haaha
another Chaos rhino attempts to ram the repressor in the side but didn't get up enough speed!
Two Plague marine squads fire at the Repressor but fail to penetrate... thing is built like a brick! (it's a chimera!)
Terminators kill 1 arbite from a patrol squad...

Arbites Marksman misses?
Arbites go to town and unload a gak load of fire power on the terminators, killing 2.
a Arbitor General's plasma pistol back fire and cause one wound...
the other Arbitor Lieutenant charges in and finnishes the Terminators off! they only manage to kill 1 retinue guy in return.
bolter fire kills 4 Lesser deamons...
Cyber-mastiffs 'stim inject' and go (barking!)mad with
D6 attacks each and attack the Remaining Lesser Daemons.
this wipes the Lesser daemons out although they do kill one dog in return.
The remaining 2 squads of Lesser Deamons arrive from the warp.
Rhinos move to block
LOS to one squad of daemons...
Chaos Plague marines in the center fire thier melta at the repressor again and again fail to damage it!
the
PM champion charges in and with his power fist punches a hole in the Repressor which explodes.
the explosion (rocket fuel!?) kills 4 Lesser Daemons and 3 Patrol Squad Arbites.
Chaos
CC Dreadnought charges in bolters firing and kills the remaining Cyber-mastiffs
PM attack a Arbitor Patrol Squad and kill 2. the Arbites stay in the fight.

Arbites Marksman hits but again fails to wound!?
Dreadnought comes under fire again, but is unscathed.
a Arbitor Combat Squad charge the dread, attacking with krak grenades, and manage to imobilise it.
the dread is outraged! he kills 2. the arbites pass their moral and are trapped in combat.
The Daemon prince gets bored and decides run across the open...
Lesser Daemons squads move onto the objectives
Dread kills two more from the Arbitor Combat Squad with help from Plague Marines.
nearby Plague Marines charge the Arbitor Patrol Squad killing 2 and watch the rest of the arbites flee...

3 Arbite squads unload everything into the 7man Plague marine squad, but power armour and nurgles blessing means that only 3 died.
while another imperial Plasma gun backfires killing the arbite firing it.
Arbites Marksman finally hits something, he just needed a bigger target and his special ammo takes two wounds off the Daemon Prince.
Arbitor General sees his chance, assults and kills the Prince.
Chaos Dread Finnishes off the Arbitor Combat Squad. and being imobilised is pretty much out of the battle...
moving and running to the bottom of the arbite held building, Plague marines Contest the 3rd objective marker.

Arbite Rhino contests the 1st objective marker that is held by the Lesser Daemons
a Arbitor Patrol Squad run towards the 4th objective marker that's also held by Lesser Daemons
1 Plague marine dies to plasma gun fire, Leaving the champion the only marine contesting the 3rd marker
Chaos rhinos move to clear way for Plague marine squad and plasma gunner to shoot the rhino contesting the 1st objectivemarker in the side armour..
all the bolter shells rock the rhino blowing off its weapon and imobilising it but it stays on the table! grrr!
Lesser daemons assult the same rhino but... Fail...

Arbite rhino rams rear of chaos rhino but fails to penetrate...
with the rhino in the way Arbitor Lieutenant & retinue has to go through difficult terrain, (but rolls high, 5")
a Arbitor General see personnelly that the Last Plague marine contesting the 3rd objective marker dies returning control to the arbites.
Arbitor Patrol Squad Assult the Lesser daemons holding the 4th objective marker and wipe them out.
the Arbitor Lieutenant & retinue (roll high again, 6") and assults the
PM holding the 2nd objective marker. combat is fierce and 3 Plague marines and several retinue die! the 2nd objective marker is contested!...
Chaos have very few moves to make with victory slipping away... a chaos rhino rams into the central building contesting the 1st objective marker.
the Arbitor Lieutenant kills the Pm plasma gunner, but the Plague marine icon bearer causes two wounds and wins the combat: the Arbitor Lieutenant tries to flee but is cut down, returning control the the
PM icon bearer!
end of turn 7 --- ------ and end of game! -------
