I can see GW shutting that project down if they continue to use the IP
I think they should stay clear of 40k until the product, a virtual table top, is finnished and someone else adds the 40k in later.

Yup. We are staying away from GW's IP. That screenshot was made by someone who has made their own 3d models, they are not officially released or sold by Racingspider Games. We're only going to be including scenery with VT, trees, buildings, rock piles, etc to begin with. If it catches on enough, the community will be able to create and share 3d models of your favorite war game (at least we hope!).
