Condemned Planet Rules:

The idea behind this rules set is that the planet is imploding on itself, only a small amount of troops remain attempting to secure a final objective. The game is usually played in the secure and hold ideas however if your campaign or mission backgrounds change that it’s no problem. However it is recommended the player’s stay between 750 and 1250 pts (I usually play it was make a 1000pts army list and add another 250pts of additional Wargear from the ideas bellow it is sometimes fun to add additional Wargear to those listed bellow)

RULES: 1000pts, no more than 2 vehicles, no more than 250pts of planetary Wargear, all lava and deep crevice scenery pieces are counted as impassable terrain. Whenever the rules described later ask to roll a dice this refers to the player whose turn has just passed, all armour saves are done by the affected player.

PREPERATION: You will need between 7 and 10 lava and/or crevices scenery pieces (if you are not the scenery building type then you can quite easily print off lava icons/pictures from the internet or crevice print offs)

GAME PLAY: Begin the game as usual but at the end of each turn roll a D6 and refer to the table (thing) bellow:

1-2 l No change l the planet rumbles and growls but no noticeable changes

3-4 l Roll a Scatter dice and 4D6, place another lava/crevice scenery marker the indicated distance from an agreed centre point in the direction shown on the scatter dice (its simpler than it sounds) if the lava appears over a unit the entire unit is destroyed automatically. l The planets crust begins to fall away

5-6 l Roll a 2D6, measure from a randomly determined lava/crevice scenery piece ( I usually do this by numbering all the scenery pieces and rolling a D6 if theres more than 7 I say if it’s a 6 then flip a coin too, so you can have scenery piece; 1,2,3,4,5,6 heads, and 6 tails)

(i will update the wargear ideas in my next post, but until then post your wargear ideas bellow and comment on my proposed condemned planet scenario ideas)

WAAAAAGH OUT!

:S Why, everybody knows the orks are the comedy releif of the 40th milleneum, and the grotz are the punch lines.
