I know nobody here probably cares seeing as I only know about 4 people on this site but I'm so excited I have to tell everybody I can. I'm engaged! I was so incredibly nervous when I asked her but she said yes!

My condolences...

As a rule of thumb, the designers do not hide "easter eggs" in the rules. If clever reading is required to unlock some sort of hidden option, then it is most likely the result of wishful thinking.

You should get a pre-nup though.. put in there that by law she has to let you play with your army men whenever you want, and give up the rights to any basement in any home the 2 of you own, since you will need that for your man room.

Haha well she has already put up with my Warhammering for over a year and a half so I don't think that will be too much of an issue. She even tolerated me being part of an escallation league for 8 months

Didn't you ever notice that the word "ENGAGED" has the word "GAG" right in the middle of it?

Ah, well... Welcome to the clothes store.

Hope you brought a book.

Well I'm not one for doing things traditionally so I made up this whole convoluted business where she had to look at specific parts of people's myspace profile's to spell out "Will you marry me?" And obviously yes...it did work

There's a subtext to the vows: "I do... (not have to tolerate your 'bad habits' anymore, 'cause I got the ring!)"

As a rule of thumb, the designers do not hide "easter eggs" in the rules. If clever reading is required to unlock some sort of hidden option, then it is most likely the result of wishful thinking.

We often say that wedding is putting a rope around our neck.

In this case, I think that hanging is more quicker, more liberating, and less painful by comparison... :(

You poor man.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Don't go too hard on the martinis, and writing "SAVE ME" under both of your shoes never gets old. Say goodbye to whichever car you drove to the wedding (and were planning on driving out of) and you'll make it alive

COngrats! My wife is the only one who can truly tolerate my sense of humor at it's most potent. She's a nice church going girl who overlooks he fact that I will curse a 7 minute blue streak with no reruns when I get on one, so long as the kids aren't around. Getting hitched can be a real gamble in todays society. I can't tell you how many great girls I knew in college as friends who had all the aces, but were just like "I can't wait to get married so i can just get fat."

Finding a keeper is a tough job, and more than a little leap of faith. May your faith be well placed.
