In an hour and a half (after I finish all the ironing) Black Hawk down starts on TV and I have a 790ml Baskin Robbins hand packed to get through.
Rocky Road, Peanut butter and chocolate, love potion 31.
I will be assembling my BAs during the movie (I wish GWUK didn't take 28 days to get my order here... All other net retailers take about 7-10 days, still waiting on my shoulder pads)

In the mean time, whilst ironing, I will be watching Season 1 Venture Bros on DVD (3 episodes to go).

I'm going to the great British institution of the Pub after work, where I intend to have a few Bevvies, and hopefully another grope of the lovely Lori. I rather fancy my chances tonight.

Other than that, and more seriously, I have the new Marine Codex, my Savage Orcs arrived, my Shards of Alara Booster Box and Fatpack are here, I've got a new World of Darkness book to plough though (Dogs of War) still have to finish Heldenhammer, and have more Dr Who waiting to be watched (largely Pertwee).

So, either I get my leg over tonight, or this weekend will be a good time to be a Nerd!

The glories of the DVR have been revealed to me in all their splendor. I'll never have to watch a TV commercial again! Ironically enough, about half of the TV I watch is network, not cable but what the hell. (Heroes, Fringe, all three CSI's, NCIS, House, Sarah Connor Chronicles.)

Never got into CSI New York.

I much prefer Law and Order SVU and Criminal Intent.

Found out last week that heroes is to be fastracked here in Oz and we get the new season this Thursday instead of April next year.
The only downside to all this frivolity is that I have to pull a 16 hour shift tomorrow at the hospital... and the rugby league grand final is on.

I am also in a good mood. I have almost completed my tax return, have finished 50% of all outstanding errands and finally got the forthcoming dakka gallery search engine down to 0.08s per search across a massive simulated dataset, keeping it on track for a release around haloween.

A feel-good thread, yeah!

I finally got my other bike back on the road today, after almost trashing it on Westminster Bridge last December.

Been modelling an Ultramarine Tyranid Hunter and a Blood Angel Veteran today, whilst watching Futurama with my step daughter. A good day.

I've just made my mum's recipe pasta bake, have spent the day sleeping off a hangover and I'm off to watch Match of the Dat to revel in my fantasy football team being far better than my housemate's once again. To hell with poverty! (10 internets for spotting the reference).

I'm going to do some sit-ups.

i had friernds over tyhis evening. We ordered a takeout, and set up thoroughly unblanced and humourous scenarios for each other on Medieval Total War. Naptha bombers vs 80 war elephants...The exprssion on my friends face when he saw what he had to fight had me choking with laughter.

I've forgotten what a pub is! Takes two days to recover from a hangover now, but I seldom get 2 days in a row off work, grrrr! On the plus side, the missus is going away on holiday for a week so I get to turn the flat into a bachelor pad

In 4 weeks time I get 10 weeks holiday over summer. YES!

2 weeks before my wife goes on maternity leave.

Much painting, assembling and gaming will be had, and hopefully it can kick me back into the 40k groove.
Hopefully 1 unit or vehicle per week...

Pre baby being born.

My wife gets maternity leave from 34 weeks pregnant.

If baby comes on time I have an 8 week Diablo 2 painting/modelling, exercising extravaganza (5km swim or 18km hill run per day).

Gotcha. I thought perhaps the baby was actually coming in two weeks.

I had this notion of you sitting at your desk thinking, "Man, my wife and I get so much time off for this baby, I'm going to get so much painting done right after it's born! One vehicle or unit a week!"

The thought brought me great lulz.
