yea, current project is TK. i have four armies. that figure will never change. i may have other sentimental pieces from my 5 year stab at MMS (many-model-syndrome) or display pieces i painted for fun, but that will always be my armies.

these include

tau (750 pts at current, 8 models primed but unpainted, i'm to lazy - stopping at 1.5k)

skaven (unknown how far i will go, sentimental as they were my first army, and i need alot desperatly - see below)

brets (2.25k at end of year most likely, this due to a large trade in proccess - possible continuation, possible not.)

tomb kings (currently under construction, continuation indefinatly)

i also have marines that i paint for fun, as i like imperials

anyway

for trading, i need skaven, and tomb kings (although no spear skellies)

i have: 30 5th ed lizardmen skinks (need stripping) 20 5th ed saurus (need stripping), large bag of chaos and imperial bitz, bag of 24 fantasy orcs (2hand weapon at half, bows at half), and ten chaos raptors minus backpacks. all of this is my pre closet clearing.

and i live in florida, USA.

Although it may be anathema to some people don´t limit yourself to GW skellies only and search the thousands of alternative companies e.g. Confrontation line you´ll find something that catches your eye.

A second coment, don´t use liche purple with TKs, reds and purples are more VC related I think. Khemri is more blues and greens but YMMV.

well that just ruined my view of my BSB... and i don't want to strip him, and purple is cool, so purple it is (i got the idea from the pics in the link below - speifically those in the middle of the page)

on the idea of skellies, well, possibly, but GW's skellies are cool and i'm waiting for the re-launch of TK. (while building up a substantial amount of skellies)

you may suggest some mini's for tomb guard though, as i don't care for the existing models. possibly a picture or link as well.

eh, i know i'm double posting, but its my blog so....

i picked up a pot of dwarf bronze and my to-be tomb prince tonight.

I use a mixture of GW TG for the troops with the tomb guard line of gamezone

the standar bearer is much better than the GW one, more egyptian looking. Also from the same company the mounted and on foot archers can complement your archer quite nicely.
