Hi guy's im quite new to dakka dakka this is my first real post and im starting out with some terrain an industrial site to be precise i've already made some of it using cardboard tubing and foam. My general idea is a factory with some form of fence made from wire mesh around it but one corner will have a hill the fence will go over. I hope to get some WIP shots up soon so you guys can understand what im talking about (i some time's mummble on about rubbish). Until the next post,
Nathan

I would consider adding railing to the platform halfway up the tower/big tank thing. Also, you could consider cutting the platforms so they´re round, that way they may blend in better with thw tower itself.
Good progress all in all.

Pretty nice stuff. I like the looks of the tower. And it inspires me. At the moment im drawing up plans for a game table that will all be industrial and city scape. So I love to see this kinda stuff.

On netbook atm, can't tell if that's wood or cardboard on the base... Either way be careful; drying glue on a flat, flexible surface can cause all sorts of perils of the warp.

Looking good. If you have cash you might want to get the IMEX chemical plant or power plant kits to detail it.

I'd add walls, the impression that I'm getting is a tower, and a large piece of rubble without an apparent source.
Having an obvious place that the rubble came from is always a winner, and collapsed walls will really make this terrain piece
