a friend of mine has an sm army painted like this and insists he came up with it himself but i swear i have seen it somewhere before, so i ask you good people of the 40k fluff forum to help me out on this one.
is there an sm chapter with that or similar colour scheme? or am i going slightly mad?

Its extremely reminiscent of a picture of a Scythes of the Emperor marine, except that it had yellow instead of white.

It is a little simmaler to the white panthers. Enough to make me look them up but their color scheme is mostly reversed.

scythes of the emperor use yellow in place of white. this is similar to a few but is indeed unique, all you need is a chapter symbol which is too and your set

i looked up the scythes of the emperors scheme and its deffinatly not them, nor the white panthers.
looks like i did loose a fiver then

jmurph BT have white shoulders black trim and the rest is black.
this guys had black shoulders white trim all over and several patches of white and red
