Do Black Templar have a Master of the Forge?

According to the Lexicanum (which has references), Companies are set by the Marshal and can hold any number of marines. Techmarines and Apothacaries fight side by side, closer to Space Wolves than Ultramarines or Imperial Fists.

They do not make use of Librarians, but they have non-combat psykers. They have techmarines and Venerable Dreadnoughts. They make use of the Reclusiarchy, but so does every other Chapter. (except Space Wolves? Which is beside the point).

But do they have a Master of the Forge.



The Master of the Forge being the head of the Armory, seperate from the Headquarters staff.

I would say that even if they do not, they could very well have a "Head Techmarine," armed with a Conversion Beamer. Like, if someone wanted to do such a thing. Not that someone would.

hmm. No thoughts. What I would guess/ imagine is that they would have "Techmarine+", if they did not have a literal Master of the Forge itself. Kind of like a Special Character, someone who distinguished themselves.
