well, after a long time of being in the hobby and not ever making a full army I've decided to give it a go. I'm hoping this blog will help motivate me. I'm scrounging around for what I can use first (with the exception of some of the awesome new Cold One Knights a friend bought me) and then I'll work on picking up some new items. My goal is to have the whole army at least assembled before the Spring season of gaming because hopfully my wife will be fine with me going out to game since our newborn will be about 5 months old at that point. so here are the first two pictures. my first unit base coated and what I have assembled so far on the table. It's going to take a while, but I hope to stay with it. My painting skills have waned over time and non-practice, but I'm mainly concerned with getting everything painted to a gaming standard.

also, if anyone has any advice about how to build a good Dark Elf army, please let me know

looking good so far. I just built up a Dark Elf army too, but couldnot tell you if it is good or not because I have never played Fantasy. I hope to get my first game in this weekend.
