a while ago i put a post on M&P forums here about a Nurgle themed Daemon army without the limitations of the merely "Nurgle" stuff...i now have most of the mini's i need, and an army list. this is just a quick update, so as not to risk thread necromancy of any kind...

so heres my list:
HQ
GUO with Breath of Chaos 190pts
Herald of Nurgle with Breath of Chaos, Noxious Touch 85pts
Herald of Tzeench with Chaos Icon 75pts
Troops
10 Plaguebearers, Chaos Icon 175pts
10 Plaguebearers, Chaos Icon 175pts
10 Plaguebearers, Chaos Icon, Instrument of Chaos 180pts
10 Daemonettes 140pts
10 Bloodletters 160pts
10 Horrors 170
fast attack
10 Flesh Hounds 150pts
GRAND TOTAL 1500pts

So the nurgle stuff is represented by standard Nurgle models, as theres no real reason to change them before the release of the plastics, but the Tzeenchian stuff represents a zombified IG regiment, still with lasguns intact to represent Daemonic Gaze, and Special weapons representing Bolt of Change. Bloodletters are the "flesh eaters" from the Celtos range, an old game made by I-Kore, now Urban Mammoth, makers of Urban War and Metropolis. Daemonettes are actually male, but merely "Daemons" may cause confusion. But theyre represented by the Drudge Mind Slaves from Warmachine, and finally, Flesh Hounds are represented by the Dire Wolves from the VC range.

so theres a lot of "counts as" stuff there, but as long as it looks the part, my casual opponents wont mind

for apoc, this list will recieve reinforcements in the shape of 2 Khornate heralds, a further Tzeench herald, and Epedemius, and will be allied with my Slaaneshi daemon army and my Death Guard, altogether weighing in at just over 5,000pts.

And soon enough i will be converting 2 Nurgle daemon princes, one being the standard nurgley DP with the Varghulfs tattered wings, and one converted from the Bone Giant "with more skin" to keep in with the undead-ish look of the rest of the army. I'm also looking to convert a Soul grinder if anyone has any ideas for that?

so here are some pictures of my work so far, along with some pictures of my slaaneshi daemon prince
