Ive well its a new year and ive decided to play a new game!

I know this army will require a lot of motivation to complete as there are so many models to paint, but they are a lot of fun... so far.

Here is my first unit finished. I have two more fanatics half done as well.

Next its Squigs squigs and more squigs!!

Looks great! I like the subtle brown/rust/wear on the Gobbo leader's sword.

Give us some hints on army composition, if you have any plans.

Thanks, The army list is still very open.

But I know it will have two goblin spear units each a min of 20 models will full command

8 squig hoppers and one unit of herders.

Black orcs with Orc war boss.

Goblin shaman

spider riders and a doom diver.

The rest is very dependent on how my fancy takes me.

Im not trying to do a very competitive (been there done that with 40K) list just one that is fun to paint a play with!

Spear chukkas FTW!
I'm taking 6 in my 2000 point army.

Just too many monster riding lords/ monsters/ greater daemons these days.

Cheers, I was going to get some chukkas and a rock lobber they are call very fun models just to paint up.

Even if i don't end up using them very often!!

Those chukkas are very nice models to paint and they are good on the table top also as Gonads said. Never leave home without them.

The gobbos look good, a nice and coherent unit. Are going for max fanatics on those gobbo units? Those gobbos need to hang next to the general or else you'll have a self destructing army on your hands

Wow! Good clean paint I see. I love the WHFB stuff but like my chaos 40k I love the Chaos FB stuff also.. maybe I do an Undead/Vamp army in the near future!

Can't wait to see more painted, more so the Black Orcs.

Yeah i almost finished the next two fanatics last night only got to base them now!

I have a war boss in with the black orcs i was planning on keeping the goblins in "support" of that key unit!

for some reason i always find looking at O&G armies painted to be very soothing.

Maybe its the mass of green, so i like it either way!

The OnG horde is also very soothing on the table top.

There is nothing more calming to look on board than 200 orcs with their noses pointed to the other side of the table in nice order and all. And then the game begins and the animosity rolls start to fail

I started the first two squigs, im quite happy with the way the skin is looking!

Well, I still like them, for what it's worth. You pull off highlighting very well. Would you mind explaining the steps you take on painting gobbo skin?

Yeah no worries!

I wanted something quick and straight out of the pot, no mixing!

So i used a base of Knarlock (sp?) green then washed with devlan mud. the highlighted back up the knarlock and finished off a final hight with goblin green!

Your work in progres watermark looks odd. Took me a while to figure it out.

Loving the gobbos.

Don't worry about response times. Just keep plugging away and someone
will end up responding. I think 40k gets the fastest response out of
anything here, with good reason.

I know most of the O&G range is fun thats why i like it

Every model is fun to paint

Ive done 80% of the skin on my Giant now it a big model to paint and full of life.

What's up with the Dakkaites? They'd rather praise bad paint jobs than post on good threads such as this one.
